Dr (Col) Ashok Jha is a senior consultant who has completed his MBBS from the prestigious
\nArmed Forces Medical College Pune and MS(Ophthalmology) from the most premiere
\ninstitute of Indian Armed Forces(Army Hospital R&R). He has over 20 years of experience in
\nphacoemulsification cataract surgery with monofocals, multifocals,trifocals and toric IOLs
\nbesides glued and Iris fixated IOLs for aphakic eyes. He has performed live surgery at
\nKOLKATA railway hospital with top surgeons of KOLKATA. He is a recognized Associate
\nProfessor of Ophthalmology with Medical Council of India. He has a keen interest in
\nacademics with publications in TOP Ophthlmology Journals like
\nEYE,CORNEA,INTERNATIONAL OPHTHLAMOLOGY,JOURNAL OF VISION and RESEARCH
\n& BMJ covering topics like CORNEAL ALTERATIONS in DM,Diabetic Retinopathy and
\nObesity besides intriguing fields like PTERYGIUM and CORNEAL TRANSPLANTATION.
\nPresented a poster in ARVO(Association for research in Vision & Ophthlmology) in 2021. He
\nhas been invited as a guest speaker in \u201cWorld Ophthalmology and Optometry
\nCongress(WOOC)\u201d and Conference on Innovations in Nutrition and Food Science(INFS2022)\u201d
\nHe is a prolific surgeon who is passionate about the eye health of both the adults and children
\nand intends to make a change in the society with sincere and honest work. With a
\nbackground of extensive work across the various hospitals in Army, he is committed to
